BUMG 3550 - Quantitative Methods In Business

Credits: 3
A study of the quantitative tools and techniques applied to business decision-making. The primary tool investigated is the linear regression model. Includes forecasting, multiple regression, qualitative variables, and the analysis of residual patterns. Also explores the linear programming model. Models are explained graphically, calculated manually, and then explored more fully on the computer. Prereq: BUIS 1010 or BULA 2640 and MATH 1200 or MATH 1500 or MATH 1700 or MATH 1800 or MATH 1900 or MATH 2110 or MATH 2120. Course/Lab Fee $
