This certificate will provide a strong foundation in Electronics and Electromechanical Devies, including non-traditional students currently working in the industry who lack a background or formal education in circuits. Electromechanical devices are critical for industry as they included both electrical and mechanical preinciples and how the combination is used in industrial equipement (for example motors, transformers, and generators).

The fundamentals of Electrical Circuits certificate is recommended before taking this certificate if the student does not have a background in electrical circuits or industrial maintenance/electricity. The certificate will be stackable along with the associate degree.
