This project involves development of a 30-semester-hour intervener certificate program at the undergraduate level as part of an Associate Degree (61 semester hours) with licensure as a Para-professional at Shawnee State University (SSU). This program will result in a career path with several options for students who enroll in and complete the Intervener coursework for the SSU-issued intervener certificate. Career options include completing the Shawnee State Intervener Certificate, followed by the Associate Degree with the Para-professional licensure then going on to completing on e of the Low Incidence Graduate licensure program at SSU.
