The Associate of Technical Studies in Industrial Management is a coherent combination of courses, selectively drawn from the Departments of Engineering Technology and Business Administration, to serve a career objective in Industrial Management.
Those earning the Associate of Technical Studies in Industrial Management can continue on to earn the BSB Industrial Management 2+2, allowing them to pursue a career at the management level of their chosen field, or start a company of their own.
Member of IACBE (International Accreditation Council for Business Education).

General Education Courses (15 Hours Minimum)
- ENGL 1102 - Discourse and Composition (B)
- MATH 1200 - College Algebra
- Select 1 course from each of the following categories with advisor approval:
- Social and Behavioral Sciences approved GEP (Human Behavior, Global Perspectives, Historical Perspectives, or Engaged Citizenry)
- Natural Sciences approved GEP
- Written and Oral Communication (ENGL1105 or approved Oral Communication GEP)
Industrial and Management Core Courses (10-12 Hours)
Industrial Management Selected Electives (33-35 Hours; up to 30 hours through prior learning)
Prior Learning/Experience Technical Credit (0-30 Hours)
Credit (up to 30 hours) may be awarded for courses completed at other institutions of higher education, career centers, documented apprenticeship training, or other educational enterprises judged to be acceptable by content area representatives.
Students who plan to use the life experience, or other non-collegiate work, as part of their ATS degree, must enroll in the course ETCO1001: Technical Portfolio Development (1 credit hour).
