Program Learning Outcomes

Students will understand the basic facts, principles, theories, and methods of modern science.

Students will explain how scientific principles are formulated, evaluated, and eitehr modified ro validated.

Students will distinguish between scientific and non‐scientific evidence and explanations.

Students will be capable of basic measurement of physical quantities, data collection, and analysis.

Students will explain quantitative relationships, critically evaluate statistics, create, and use tables and graphs to model a variety of real-world scenarios.

II. Natural Science Curriculum (16 Hours)
Select courses in BIOL, CHEM, GEOL, PHYS, or NTSC numbered 1110 or higher (NTSC1110 may also be used), including at least 2 courses selected from the GEP Natural Sciences list.
Note: Credit only allowed for one of the following courses in each pair: CHEM1121/1141 and CHEM2200/3305.
