The Theater Minor, at Shawnee State University, is designed for students who desire to enhance their major with a curriculum that promotes the study of theather and dramatic arts. The minor emphasizes study of both production and performance, presenting the student with a comprehensive understanding of theatrical and artistic produciton.  Theater programs foster the development of group work skills as well as how to effectively communicate ideas in interpersonal or public situations. 

The theater minor requires students to complete a minimum of 19 credit hours with at least a grade of “C.”
