ARTH 3368 - History of ArchitectureThis course traces the History of Architecture from the early developments in the Early Stone Age, through the 21st century. The various styles and theories that shaped the history of Architecture will be explored through the examination of architectural landmarks within the specific cultural, social, political and economic contexts of their design and construction. The primary focus of the course will be on Western Architecture and culture. The architecture of the Middle East, East Asian, Americas and African will be explored.
