BIOL 3851 - Environmental ScienceThis course examines important local and global environmental issues and their impact on society. Students will learn about different views of sustainability and explore the relationships between poverty, inequality, and environment. Strategies to enhance environmental sustainability at the local level will be examined through case studies. Additional topics include climate change, conservation, urban sprawl, and agricultural practices.
