BUIS 3700 - Internet Network ManagementFundamentals of internet engineering, using a combination of lecture and hands-on labs to provide a thorough understanding of internet protocols, including network and MAC addressing, hubs, switching, routing, IPv4, DNS, SNMP, DHCP, firewalls, network cabling, hubs, and switches; configuring network routers; configuring Unix and Windows workstations; measuring and analyzing network performance; and troubleshooting. This is a hands-on, lab-oriented course with lectures that prepare students for in depth labs, using real equipment used by an ISP.
