UNIV 1105 - Career Planning and Job Development Strategies for Life

Credits: 3
Focuses on student values, interests, and skills related to careers and choice of college major while an undergraduate. Also examines planning for graduate school or job placement. Study of career development through the life cycle with completion of career assessments and computer-based career guidance program. Students learn resume, cover letter, and interviewing skills. Conduct informational interviews with professionals in interest areas. Class is writing intensive with several brief research and reaction paper assignments.Coreq: ENGL 1101 or ENGL 1102 or ENGL 111S (under quarter system)
