OTAT 2203 - Occupations Through the Life Span: Children

Discussion of occupational theories in the evaluation and treatment of children, birth through adolescence. Course includes a study of conditions that interfere with normal growth and development. Emphasis on the role of the occupational therapy assistant in the treatment of developmental disabilities during infancy, childhood, and adolescence.Prereq: Successful completion of previous semester in OTA program.3 lecture hours 3 lab hours $
