Principles, practices, and techniques of analysis of chemical components in serum (including carbohydrates, proteins, lipids, electrolytes, enzymes, hormones, minerals, metabolic materials, and drugs), as well as other body fluids. Emphasis is on the specific chemical reactions and/or analytical principles, sources of error, quality control, practical applications, and theoretical aspects of the above procedures as related to normal and abnormal states.
