CHEM 2200 - Introduction to Organic Chemistry

Credits: 4
This course is a survey of the major functional groups found in organic compounds. The course includes study of nomenclature and reactions, with an emphasis on relating the chemical properties of a substance to its structure. The organic chemistry of compounds of biological interest is included, as is the organic chemistry of polymeric materials.Prereq: CHEM 1121 or 11413 lecture hours 3 lab hours $GEP
