BSNR 4453 - Leadership and Mgmt. in Prof. Nursing Practice

This course explores leadership/ management, organization, change, power, and the collaborative role of the professional nurse, based on trends in the health care system, practice in diverse health care environments, and with multidisciplinary teams. Relationships among quality improvement, financing, performance appraisal, and change are integrated into critical thinking and decision-making processes. Research, as it relates to leadership and management, is incorporated throughout the course.Prereq: BSNR 3301Coreq: BSNR 3330 3 lecture hours $
