BSNR 3343 - Introduction to Nursing Research

This course investigates the significance of research in nursing with emphasis on the scientific approach and its application in evidence-based nursing practice.  The major components of the research process are addressed with a focus on the professional nurse as a consumer of research.  Critical thinking skills are emphasized in the analysis of current nursing research.Prereq: MATH 1500 and admission to RN-BSN program or non-degree students with instructor permission.3 lecture hours $
