PTAT 2230 - Rehabilitation Procedures Cardiopulmonary/Musculoskeletal Lab

This course is a part of two rehabilitation courses, relating primarily to orthopedics or joint dysfunction and cardiopulmonary dysfunction learned with PTAT 2231 course.  This course includes an applied knowledge and comprehension or range of motion, strength training, balanced training, flexibility training, and coordination training for clinical and home use.  Additionally, intervention strategies for women’s health, prosthetic sent orthotics, and industrial rehabilitation will be covered.  Intervention strategies for cardiovascular rehabilitation will be discussed and demonstrated for treatment in a clinic or home setting.  Data collection and standard documentation to support safe and legal care are reviewed and practiced.Prereq: PTAT 1114 and Admission to the PTA Program. 6 lab hours $
