Accounting Minor

The minor in Accounting provides the opportunity for business or non-business students to gain the knowledge and expertise needed to assist for-profit, non-profit, and/or governmental institutions by providing information to management for decision-making purposes. This information ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws (including tax reporting); and evaluates the financial effects of management’s decisions. Students may pick from a list of Accounting electives that allows them to prepare for specific career opportunities.
