Journalism Minor

The minor in journalism offers you the opportunity to get a basic understanding of journalistic writing and procedures. You are encouraged to make practical application of your coursework.

Requirements

The following three courses are required (9 credit hours):

COMM 2231 - News Reporting and Writing
COMM 2232 - Multimedia and Narrative Journalism
COMM 2250 - Publication Editing and Design

Choose 2 courses (6 hours) from the following list:
