The Theater Minor, at Shawnee State University, is designed for students who desire to enhance their major with a curriculum that promotes the study of theater and dramatic arts. The minor emphasizes study of both production and performance, presenting the student with a comprehensive understanding of theatrical and artistic production.  Theater programs foster the development of group work skills as well as how to effectively communicate ideas in interpersonal or public situations. 

Note: The theater minor requires students to complete a minimum of 20 credit hours with at least a grade of “C.”
