History Minor

Students enrolled in any of the University’s baccalaureate degree programs may elect to complete a minor in history. This may be a particularly attractive program for those majoring in English/ humanities, social sciences, or business and for those planning to attend law school.
The minor requires you to complete 18 hours of history, with a minimum grade of “C.” Courses taken on a pass/no-credit basis may not be applied to the minor. No more than nine of these hours may count toward your major(s).

Select three courses. History Upper-Division Courses (9 Hours)
Select three courses, with no more than two courses from the same field.
Field One (European and Western Civilization)
Field Two (American History)
Field Three (Non-Western Civilization)
