ETCS 3400 - Web ProgrammingThis course provides an in-depth study of various aspects of designing, developing, and testing web-based technologies and applications. Topics examined include both front-end and back-end implementations (a “full stack” development experience), common strategies found within a variety of web platforms, and special concerns for mobile devices or other non-desktop systems. For back-end implementations, one or more server platforms will be used to implement a web application that interacts with front-end code. The course will also cover security based considerations, including ways to design robust and secure code that resists external attacks.
