ETPL 6100 - Advanced Polymer Properties

This course is designed to improve the students’ understanding of plastic structures, plastic rheology, and advanced properties. The course emphasizes the structure/property relationships for properties of plastic. This course will address advanced topics in polymer structure, and polymer properties in melt and the solid state. Real life design examples are used to demonstrate the topics and concepts as much as possible. Relationships between polymer structure (chemical composition, molecular weight, molecular weight distribution and flexibility, intermolecular order and bonding structure are studied.
