ETCS 2000 - Applied ComputingThis course focuses on applications of fundamental computing concepts to problems from areas such as linguistics, mathematics, natural and social sciences, history, or art. Students learn fundamental data structures, algorithms, and libraries related to data analysis and data visualization. Students are introduced to modern database systems and machine learning tools to aid in solving appropriate problems. Course content, assignments, and labs involve using multiple high-level programming languages to foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
