MSNR 6120 - The Nurse Educator Role

This course examines the role and responsibilities associated with functioning as a nurse educator in academia or health care environments. Topics explored will include the faculty role of teaching, service, and scholarship, as well as nurse educator competencies and expected professional development activities. Legal and ethical considerations related to the nurse educator and student roles will be addressed.
