MSNR 5340 - Health Care Policy, Issues and Trends for the Nurse Educator

This course explores health care policy, nursing issues and trends affecting nursing and health care delivery. Students will examine the economic, political, social, cultural, technological, regulatory, ethical and legal impact of health care policy as it impacts nursing education, nursing practice and health care delivery. Changing roles of nurses, scope of practice, interdisciplinary collaboration and nursing discipline concerns will be discussed. (3 credit hours)
