MSNR 5335 - Curriculum Development and Evaluation in Nursing Education

This course explores curriculum development, design, and implementation to achieve desired outcomes and competencies in nursing education. Students will examine evaluation models used to assess curriculum design as applied to nursing education in academic and staff development settings. Students will apply evidence-based design principles by creating learning activities, lessons, and evaluation materials for a nursing course applicable to their area of interest. Students will evaluate the influence of accreditation requirements on curriculum development and the accreditation evaluation process.
