Examines the handling of the flow of goods and services from the raw manufacturing of the product through to the consumption by the consumer. Overview of key supply chain risk areas, including catastrophes, vulnerability and threat assessments, resources and capabilities identification/integration, basic crisis management, contingency planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity in supply chain settings. Examples and cases drawn from Appalachia are emphasized
