EDIN 2012 - Supporting the Child with Dual Sensory Impairment

This course will focus on the impact of dual sensory impairments on a child with multiple disabilities.  The impact of this on the child, the child’s family and the child’s long term planning will be addressed.  Resources for information for teachers, related services providers and families will be shared along accessing assistive and adaptive technology.  Assessment approaches and instructional modifications and accommodations for the child will be covered in depth during the course.
