EDIN 2023 - Introduction to Braille

Candidates will learn the basics of Braille and the use of Braille for functional and academic literacy for children who are Deaf Blind. Instruction in the modes or forms of communication and devices used by individuals who are Deaf Blind will also be explored. They will also learn how to facilitate the sense of touch to supplement auditory and visual input for student learning and interaction.
