ARTS 3541 - Portrait Photography 1

This course covers the principles of traditional and contemporary portrait photography.  The student will be exposed to continuous and strobe lighting techniques.  Projects will be in controlled studio environment and location environments.  Various portrait styles and lighting techniques will be explored.  Digital retouching and color correction relevant for portraiture will be covered.

Note: ARTS 2512 may be taken as a corequisite.
