MLTC 2190 - Clinical Practicum

Fifteen weeks of internship providing a practical application of the skill and knowledge learned during the previous terms of the curriculum. Students are assigned to accredited hospital laboratories as trainees. The rotation schedule consists of three weeks in Hematology/Coagulation; three weeks in Chemistry; four weeks in Microbiology; one week in Urinalysis; and four weeks in Blood Bank/Serology.

Prereq: Admission to program and completion of all MLTC courses with a minimum of ”C” in the lab and lecture portion of each.
