ECON 4405 - Economic DevelopmentExamines the specific economic problems of less developed countries. The focus of this course is on the institutions and social structures that serve to promote, or inhibit economic and human development. Topics covered will typically include theories of economic growth, the role of the state, industrialization, the agricultural sector and additional, selected macroeconomic topics.
