ECON 1103 - Foundations of Political EconomyIntroduces students to the economy and to economics as a way of thinking about the world. Builds on and incorporates basic concepts from both micro and macroeconomics and examines the role of scarcity, choice, and institutions in framing the changing roles of the private and public sector in the U.S. economy.
