EDIN 2000 - Paraprofessional as a Support for Students

This course will focus on an overview of the roles and responsibilities of the educational paraprofessional in supporting a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other non-sensory impairment disabilities.  Roles and responsibilities of the paraprofessional within the P-12 Education setting will be the focus of the course.  Candidates to practice ethical, legal, and professional standards of conduct.  This will include limitations of actions and responsibilities assigned to the paraprofessional.   Candidates will learn to provide safe, equitable learning environments in which diversities are valued.
