BIOL 3100 - Field Studies in Biology

Intensive study and analysis of sites, regions, and organisms of biological significance. Offered as extended field trips. Students may earn a maximum of 6 hours of BIOL3100.

Note: Please note: This course takes the form of extended field trips, with perhaps as many as 8-10 hours per day of instruction and activities. As a very general guideline, a 3-6 day trip might be offered for 1 credit; a 7-9 day trip, 2 credits; a 10-14 day trip, 3 credits. **A lab fee will not be charged, but additional costs associated with travel will be assessed.

Credits: 1-3

Prereq: Instructor Permission Required. Additional courses may be indicated based on the subject of the field study.
