ETCA 2601 - Prototyping and 3D PrintingThis course will cover a brief history and development of traditional prototyping and rapid prototyping technology. There will be hands-on labs to build traditional architectural models and mechanical part design. 3D CADD technology will be utilized to design mechanical parts and produce prototypes utilizing traditional methods and 3D printing technology. Students may concentrate on either architectural or mechanical designs. Additive manufacturing concepts will be introduced.
