EDIN 1012 - Orientation to Dual Sensory Impairments

This course will focus on the main causes of dual sensory impairments and the educational and social implications of each of these and how an intervener interacts with the child to meet her/his needs.  An overview of supports available to the child with dual sensory impairments and how those are part of the child’s education system will be addressed along with the importance of building a trusting relationship with individuals who are deafblind.

Note: This course is Hybrid/Online approved.
