OTD 7001 - Application of Theory and Evidence to Clinical Practice

Demonstrate the ability to select relevant theories/frames of reference for current or desired area of occupational therapy practice. Compare and contrast the utility of various theories and explain the relative benefits of each selected theory. Select and evaluate current evidence supporting intervention in practice and identify areas for continued need for research. Begin the process of selecting an occupational therapy theory for framing the Capstone Project.
