POLS 4130 - Politics of AppalachiaPolitics of Appalachia provides a survey of political, economic, and cultural events and ideas that have shaped the political and developmental landscape of the region. This course will begin to look at the construct of “Appalachia” from a political, geographic, cultural, and economic perspective. In addition to the texts, primary source materials and scholarly research will be examined.
