This course investigates the properties of the natural numbers and integers.  Topics include factorization, Euclidean algorithm, Diophantine equations, congruence, and divisibility. Prereq: Acceptance into the Masters in Mathematical Sciences program and/or instructor permission. 3 lecture hours $
