Sustainable Landscape Management Certificate

A course of study designed for a student to gain basic and applied knowledge related to management of landscape systems, including foundational understanding of earth systems, climate, plant production, and related economic and business considerations. Upon completion of the certificate, students will:
- Successfully relate concepts of earth systems science, necessities for living plants, sustainability, and human needs and desires in context with managed landscapes.
- Be competent in common techniques used in plant propagation, husbandry, and economic use by humans.
