The Religious Studies minor provides an opportunity to study religions of the world in a comparative, critical and academic perspective. Religion pervades all spheres of society today, and it is important to know various religions in order to understand the contemporary political and social issues. This further helps the students understand their own culture and that of others in a broad perspective. This minor also enhances student success in various careers related to media, administration, medicine and law.

Required Courses (Minimum of 18 hours)
You must earn a minimum grade of “C” for all courses taken in the minor. No more than nine (9) credit hours may double count between the religious minor and your major.
