Gaming and Simulation Development Arts BFA

Entertainment and serious gaming is a dynamic industry with multiple avenues for creative expression. The work requires one to be sensitive to artistic trends and style as well as technically savvy. The Game & Simulation Arts program has at its core a strong traditional foundation where the student is then provided avenues for study in high-end digital 3D graphics. Students in the BFA program work with students in the BS in Simulation & Game Engineering to produce their final senior capstone project.
Incoming freshmen in the program must have an ACT math score of 21 or a Compass Score of 49 with a 3.0 GPA. Transfer students must have a 3.0 GPA. All students must submit a digital portfolio of twelve unique visual works. See www.shawnee.edu for complete admission requirements.
A student who has successfully completed a degree in Game & Simulation Arts may have career opportunities, or further study, in areas which include:
