The course will examine the artistic developments that took place during the Baroque period. It will examine the emergence of artistic trends, styles and ways of moralizing through the arts leading to innovative artistic productions. Class lectures will be organized using a regional approach in order to better understand the diverse influences that shaped the arts during the Baroque period.
