SOCI 3313 - Sociology of Religion: MonotheismCredits: 3 This is a Sociological study of religion specifically covering Monotheistic religions (e.g. Judaism, Christianity, Islam). Perspectives found in Sociological theories of religion that are relevant to the study of these religions will be emphasized. An analysis of the interrelationships of the Monotheistic religions with major social institutions and how these interrelationships develop over time will be a major theme of this course. Prereq: SOCI 1101 3 lecture hours
