The Bachelor of Arts in Communication degree prepares skillful communicators for entry into the job market and/or graduate study. By providing a core of classes in journalism, strategic communication, presentation skills, interpersonal communication, and organizational communication, students will be introduced to key concepts and skills associated with both mass communication and applied communication. They may then choose communication electives that allow them to expand their study of particular areas. General elective hours also allow students to pursue related minors.

General Education - (38 hours)
Includes UNIV 1100 First Year Experience. Oral Communication requirement counts in the major required hours.
Communication Core - (30 hours)
Note: Either COMM 1103 or COMM 2335 may double count in GEP requirements.
Communication Electives - (18 hours)
Choose at least 18 credit hours from the following courses:
