Curriculum

I. General Education Requirement (24 Hours)


Complete the following categories of the General Education Program  
   
First Year Experience: University Foundations (1 credit hour)
English Composition (6 hours minimum)
Literature (3 hours minimum)
Quantitative Reasoning (The 3 credit hour requirement will be satisfied by the Math requirement of the AS-Natual Science degree)
Natural Sciences (This 7 credit hour requiremetn will be satisfied within the core requirements of the AS-Natural Sciences degree)
Oral Communication (This 3 credit hour requirement will be satisfied by the COMM1103 requirement of the AS-Natural Science degree)
Ethical Insight and Reasoning (This GEP category is not required by the AS-Natural Science degree)
Engaged Citizenry (3 hours minimum)
Fine and Performing Arts (3 hours minimum)
Global Perspectives (3 hours minimum)
Historical Perspectives (3 hours minimum)
Human Behavior (3 hours minimum)

II. Natural Science Curriculum (16 Hours)


Select courses in BIOL, CHEM, GEOL, PHYS, or NTSC numbered 1110 or higher (NTSC1110 may also be used), including at least 2 courses selected from the GEP Natural Sciences list.
Note: Credit only allowed for one of the following courses in each pair: CHEM1121/1141 and CHEM2200/3305.

IV. Communication Requirement (3 Hours)


V. General Electives (12-13 Hours)


 Choose any course in any area, until 60 total credit hours have been earned.
