STAT 1800A - Business Statistics Plus

This course STAT1800A was created for students who need additional time to review the prerequisite material needed for success in the college-level course STAT1800. The course is 5-credit hours: 4-credit hours is designated for STAT1800 content; 1-credit hour is designated for reviewing and mastering the prerequisite material.

Topics for STAT1800 includes exploring data, describing patterns, describing measures of central tendency and variability, sampling distributions and experimentation, planning and conducting a study, normal distributions, and statistical inference. Topics for the prerequisite material includes a review of linear expressions and equations in numeric, graphic, and symbolic form; linear models; scientific notation; and, radicals and radical equations.

Students cannot receive credit for both STAT1800 and STAT1800A.
