EDIN 2500 - Paraprofessional Practicum

This course is delivered online with a supervised field experience. It is a culminating class for the Para-education AAS degree. This course will ask students to reflect on their field experiences, determine their own educational philosophy based on what they have observed in classrooms related to best practices and effective student support. This course will serve as one of two culminating courses in the paraprofessional program. The practicum experience will be completed under the direction and supervision of a P-12 teacher of students with disabilities (SWD) in a P-12 education setting. The paraprofessional licensure candidate will be evaluated by both the University Supervisor and field-based classroom teacher during this course.

Note: This course is Hybrid/Online approved.
