ARTS 3553 - View Camera Techniques

The view camera has been a special tool of a photographer for decades.  The successful student will learn how to employ the precision and detail available through the use of a view camera.  Studio, and out-of-the-studio, projects will give the student the opportunity to apply various camera adjustments to control focus, shape and perspective within an image; and, use currently accepted methods to capture images and output archival photographic print, and digital files.

Note: ARTS 2512 may be taken as a co-requisite.
